The QR Memory Marker....what is it?
A QR code is also known as a quick response code. You have seen it on flyers and advertising brochures. It is a two-dimensional code in form of squares and lines and can be scanned with a smart phone or tablet to reveal its content.
QR Memory Markers are a placeholder for an obituary and present a unique and creative way to tell the story of your loved ones life and compress it into this tiny square to make a permanent memorial. With today's technology, QR Memory Markers are also able to manufacture a brass plate with a laser engraved QR code with adhesive backing or a QR code on a peel-off foil sticker, so you can adhere it right onto an existing grave stone, an urn, a painting or picture.
Anyone with a smart device and an installed QR code application, such as an iPhone, iPad, any smartphone or any tablet, can scan the code and read the obituary or watch the life story of a selected person in form of a video, slideshow or mini documentary right at the place where the QR Memory Marker is installed.
